Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has again insisted he doesn't want to lose Mario Balotelli.
Mancini has told him it is time to put his eccentric lifestyle behind him and concentrate on two things - his family and football.
He said: "The first thing I asked him was if he knew he was going to be a father. He is a tranquil guy.
"I love Mario because he is an extraordinary player but he has not exploited his potential to the full. A player of his quality should be thinking exclusively of his job and his family.
"He has talent and he can't throw it away as he is doing, someone of his quality can change a match at any moment."
Mancini insists he sees Balotelli staying at City despite another indifferent season so far.
The Etihad boss said: "He's not for sale. He is an important player for us. Our roads may divide if I change the team but he will stay at City."
