Manchester City are intensifying their pursuit of Real Madrid defender Raul Albiol.

The Sun says City plan to make a move for Real Madrid defender Raul Albiol at the end of the season.

The Spain defender, 26, has failed to secure a regular first-team place under boss Jose Mourinho.

City want competition for Vincent Kompany and Joleon Lescott.
