Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is expected to raid his old club Inter Milan to boost his defence.

Mancini has been linked with a January move for Juventus' outstanding Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini.

However, the Independent says Mancini may return to Inter for January reinforcements, with Ivan Cordoba and Douglas Maicon more likely than Chiellini, whom the Turin club may be reluctant to release.
