Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini admits even some Manchester United fans congratulated him for Sunday's derby shock.

Mancini is winning new admirers with his work this season.

He said: "I had some United fans saying, 'I'm Red but congratulations for the victory'.

"But when I was driving home after the game, two or three fans said 'F*** off!'

"Sir Alex was disappointed but congratulated us. He is a gentleman. He's won everything for 25 years."
