Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini took in Sampdoria's victory over AS Roma.

Mancio spent much of his playing career at Samp and was at Marassi for the 3-1 home win.

"I happened to be in the area and came to watch the game," he told Stadio Sprint.

"Roma played a good first half, Sampdoria did better in the second. I didn't expect the Blucerchiati to win this, but matches can change with a single incident."
