Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is desperate to land Barcelona striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Sport says Mancini is "crazy" about being reunited with his former Inter Milan forward and knows Barca are willing to cash in if an offer of at least £40 million arrives.

Mancini and Ibrahimovic have maintained regular telephone contact, with the Italian convincing the striker he would be a cornerstone of his new-look City next season.

Having played in Spain, Italy and Holland, Ibra now fancies a move to England and Mancini has told him his attributes will fit in well with the Premiership's all-action style.
