They expect £40m to be recouped by selling Craig Bellamy, Jo, Emmanuel Adebayor, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Roque Santa Cruz, Nedum Onuoha and Wayne Bridge.

Skipper Carlos Tevez could also be sold.
