Man City boss Mancini planning bid for Real Madrid's Di Maria
Submitted by tribalfootball.com on Sun, 02/12/2012 - 09:55
Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is chasing Real Madrid winger Angel di Maria.
The Daily Star Sunday says City have been alerted to the Argentina winger’s dispute with Real over a new contract.
Di Maria, 24 on Tuesday, is unhappy with his £80,000-a-week deal at the Bernabeu – but the Spanish giants, currently leading La Liga, are reluctant to increase it.
If Di Maria stays in Madrid, boss Jose Mourinho’s club would have to pay his former side Benfica an additional £10million next season, based on appearances.
That’s on top of the original fee of £25m and Real are considering cashing in on him.
Real claim they have already rejected an offer of £38m from Chelsea.

Why is this crap about Suarez on this page. Man City joke club get lost you are not getting Di Maria so sod off don't you have enough players but if we do sell him then £50m and David Silva until then clear off losers.
"king dalglish" has not condemned Suarez in same way he never condemned all the murdering Scousers that caused so many juventus fans deaths, and the Scouser idiots who killed their own at hillsborough, rummaged thru their pockets as they lay dying and obstructed ambulances trying to save them. It was the sun s fault, the police, everyone but the brainless , selfish idiots that call themselves real fans. Let this club "walk on" to the edge of a cliff. Nuke the lot of the Scouser vermin. club has no integrity, no values, and to match these, no premier league title for over 20 years.
