Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has made contact with Inter Milan for Wesley Sneijder.
Gazzetta dello Sport says the Inter Milan playmaker is depressed after his move to Manchester United collapsed due to excessive wage demands.
It's suggested Manchester City could now move for the Dutch midfielder and Mancini has made an enquiry for his services.
Mancini has concerns over transfer target Samir Nasri after Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger suggested he was under no pressure to sell.
