Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini says he'd never consider rotating goalkeeper Joe Hart.
At the beginning of last season, Mancini recalled Hart from a loan spell at Birmingham to replace Shay Given as his first-choice keeper.
Hart, 24, has since made himself England's top shot-stopper.
Mancini said: "For me, the goalkeeper's position has to be handled differently because he always needs to know that you have confidence in him. To help his own mentality, he needs to be sure he will always play.
"I decided to put my trust in Joe. He was young, he was strong.
"De Gea is another young keeper, but he is good. Every player can make mistakes, but it is much harder for a goalkeeper."
