Abdul Razak is being allowed to stay with Manchester City.

The 18 year-old midfielder has already made his first team debut for City.

Razak, who was born in Ivory Coast and initially came to the United Kingdom for a youth tournament in Aberdeen in 2007, has been given further permission to remain to pursue his budding career with City.

City boss Roberto Mancini told the club's website: "This is great news for both Abdul and Manchester City Football club.

"He is a talented footballer and a very good young man who now has the opportunity to make the most of his ability."
