Man City boss Mancini: Forget goals, I just want wins

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini isn't bothered about praise for his free-scoring team.

Mancini, who takes his table-toppers to QPR today, would not worry one bit if his team gave up their 'entertainers' tag.

You can take the boy out of Italy...

The Etihad chief said: "We have good players here and I hope they can continue to score.

"But I think we can also win some games 1-0. Sometimes we want to win with a 1-0 in the Italian style.

"I say if you keep a clean sheet every time, that is good. And there will be times during the season when winning just 1-0 will be good.

"I don't prefer it to 4-0 but I know it is impossible to always win by three or four."
