Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini wants to work with John Guidetti next season.

The Sunday Mirror says Guidetti will return to ­Manchester City this ­summer - and be handed the opportunity to stake his claim in Roberto Mancini's star-studded team.

Guidetti has shone during a season-long loan at ­Feyenoord, scoring 18 goals including three hat-tricks.

Feyenoord technical director Martin van Geel said: "They were so ­impressed with John. They were full of praise and had talks with him.

"We'd love to keep him but City want him back.''
