Man City boss Mancini fancies wrecking Man Utd plans for Sneijder

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is threatening Manchester United's plans for Inter Milan star Wesley Sneijder. United are said to have agreed on a £30 million-plus deal with Inter this week for Sneijder.

However, Gazzetta dello Sport says Mancini is throwing a spanner in the works by asking about the Dutchman when in talks with Inter president Massimo Moratti on the weekend in Dublin.

The pair primarily were discussing Carlos Tevez's situation, but Mancini also registered City's interest for Sneijder.

With Samir Nasri still on the books at Arsenal, City remain in the market for an attacking midfielder and Mancini fancies filling the void with Sneijder - and getting one over United in the process.
