Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini wants to add another midfielder to his squad in January.
The Daily Star says Mancini went on a £130m spending spree in the summer, but the Eastlands chief has already made it clear that he wants to pep up City's chase for a Champions League spot.
He believes he is two or three players short.
The former Inter manager would also like an attacking midfielder as competition for David Silva, with Javier Pastore (Palermo) and Wesley Sneijder (Inter Milan) in the frame.
