Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini expects to face an "angry " Manchester United on Sunday.
Mancini has warned that United will be doubly ready to put things right on Sunday having lost the Manchester derby 6-1 at Old Trafford in October and following their successive defeats.
He said: "Derbies are always difficult and, at this moment, maybe even more so because they are angry about two defeats.
"It is one game United will play to win. They are a strong team, a good team with very good players. They have a lot of injuries but at Newcastle they still had a good team on the pitch.
"United are very positive because their mentality is very strong. Having two defeats does not happen to them and they soon start to play strong and win games.
"After losing to us they won eight games and drew one. That is why they are always dangerous."
