Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini insists Edin Dzeko will prove his worth.
For their derby defeat, Mancini defended his decision to leave £27million striker Dzeko on the bench until the hour mark.
The Italian said: "This is our team at the moment. Dzeko arrived a month ago.
"It's best for him to work and train and he'll be a very important player for us."
