Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini endured a miserable trip to Everton on Saturday.

Not only was City's faint title hopes extinguished by a 2-0 defeat, the Daily Star says Mancini's misery was made even worse when he left Goodison Park to discover he had been hit with a parking ticket.

"It is no secret that Roberto is a very superstitious guy and he will view the parking violation as a symbol of his bad luck up there," said a source.
