Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has played down talk of a swap involving Carlos Tevez for Inter Milan striker Samuel Eto'o.
A deal has been rumoured to be discussed this weekend in Dublin.
But Mancini says: "It's not true. Tevez is our player and I am happy with him. Eto'o is a fantastic player but he plays for Inter Milan.
"Tevez will return on August 4. I can motivate him, yes, why not? He plays in this team, and he will play in the Champions League.
"There is a chance he can go this summer but he is here with us now and if he stays we are happy."
