Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is developing a strong relationship with new football director Txiki Begiristain.

It was felt Mancini would struggle to get along with the former Barcelona sports chief.

But the Telegraph says his relationship with Begiristain is understood to be progressing well, but the big test of that will come when the summer transfer strategy is drawn up.
