Man City boss Mancini brands Man Utd's Young a "swimmer"

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has snapped back at Manchester United counterpart Sir Alex Ferguson ahead of tomorrow's derby. Fergie said there would be questions in Parliament if his team got as many spot-kicks as City.

But the Etihad boss hit back, claiming United dive to get their penalties.

Mancini said: "I remember last season when Ashley Young was swimming.

"Ferguson is probably saying it deliberately. He is clever. I think they had four or five pens in the last 10 games - then he didn't say anything."

In fact, United have been awarded exactly the SAME number of penalties as City over that period - although City scored 18 times to United's 14.

And last season United were awarded 11 penalties - three MORE than City.
