Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini says Mario Balotelli will play again this season.

Mancini confirmed he is not planning to give up on Balotelli just yet.

He said: "I thought it would be a six or seven-game ban for Mario - but he will be ready for Manchester United."

Mancini has urged his players to make Manchester United reach the 90-point mark in order to win the league.

If City win their final five matches, they will end up with 89 points.

He said: "If we finish with 89 points we should be really proud. Usually with 89 you would win - I think only two or three times in the last 50 years it hasn't.

"To win this championship is very difficult. It's the top championship in Europe."
