Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini admits he's keen to sign Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini.

Mancini would also like to sign Chiellini but is not optimistic of persuading the Italian side to let him go.

"He is the best player at Juve and I don't think they will sell him. I think it's impossible that he will leave Juventus. He is the best defender in Italy right now and that [deal] is impossible."
