Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has admitted his admiration for Tottenham ace Gareth Bale.

Mancini was asked by Italian reporters last night his opinion of the player they've dubbed 'The Welsh Cyclone'.

"Bale? Bale is an amazing guy," gushed Mancio. "He is young, good, one of the best players in the Premier League.

"He's going through a time of great form. He could play for any team."
