Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has hinted Emmanuel Adebayor is short of confidence.
Mancini hooked Adebayor during their Europa League draw with Juventus last night.
Skipper Carlos Tevez ran himself ragged and has missed only one match so far. Mancini admitted: "If we had all our strikers available then he could stay on the bench sometimes, but we have this problem with injured players.
"It's better for us that Carlos plays until Mario Balotelli is back and Manu Adebayor is 100 per cent. Manu was available after 20 days. I'm happy with his performance. What he needs now, as a striker, is to score a goal."
