Manchester City boss Mark Hughes has welcomed back England U19 pair Ben Mee and Danny Sturridge after their European Championship campaign.

He told City's website: "They have returned OK, and we are looking to involve Daniel if we can at the weekend because he did not have a lot of training with us when we came back. He had an injury and then was away with England, so we need to have a look at him and he will be involved at the weekend.

"Hamburg is another opportunity to look at what we have got here, I have been very impressed with the squad's approach to training, and pleasantly surprised with the high level of technique and understanding of the game that they have, so we will build on that."
