Manchester City boss Mark Hughes wants a deal struck this week for Blackburn Rovers striker Roque Santa Cruz.
Santa Cruz is set to leave Blackburn this summer for City in a £15 million deal.
Hughes wants the transfer completed before he goes on holiday later this week and Santa Cruz flew back from Paraguay over the weekend to undergo a medical.
