Man City boss Hughes targets Blackburn defender Samba

Manchester City boss Mark Hughes is moving for Blackburn Rovers defender Christopher Samba.

The Daily Mail says Hughes wants to strengthen his back four and is targeting his former Rovers centre-half.

French-born Congo centre half Samba was one of Hughes's most successful buys after he arrived in a knockdown £400,000 deal from Hertha Berlin in the January window last year.
