Manchester City boss Mark Hughes has scoffed at complaints from Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas over a challenge from Emmanuel Adebayor last week.

Cesc showed off a gash on his calf in midweek and said it was the result of an X-rated tackle from the Manchester City man.

But Hughes scoffed: "I don't recall him not finishing the game last Saturday.

"And I think he played 90 minutes in midweek, so I don't think his injury was that bad."
