Manchester City boss Mark Hughes believes Real Madrid's big spending will kickstart the summer market.

Reflecting on Real's capture of Kaka and Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo, Hughes said: "If anything, it will stimulate the market.

"There is a lot of money out there now, with some big clubs eager to spend it. It should make for an interesting market now."
