Manchester City boss Mark Hughes comes face-to-face with Tottenham winger David Bentley today.
Sparky's last act as Blackburn manager was to reject a transfer request from the England winger.
Yet just days later it was the boss rather than the player quitting Ewood Park.
Hughes recalled: "It was about the last thing I did at Blackburn and I don't think David was too happy about that, in fairness.
"I said things to him about staying where he was for another year and then I left. He wasn't happy with my point of view but there you go, that's football."
