Manchester City's 6-0 drubbing of Portsmouth was a landmark moment in manager Mark Hughes' career.

When asked if that was the best performance by a team he has managed, Hughes said: "By a country mile. We have set a very high standard and we must not let our standards drop below those we've set. Hopefully, we'll strive to greater heights."
