Manchester City boss Mark Hughes has laughed off reports he's suffering inference from the club's owners.
He said: "We've had a number of stories that aren't really based on any truth and some of them are rather silly in fairness.
"The thought of Sheikh Mansour and Chairman Khaldoon sitting in a room doing tactics and sending them over by fax is a little bit ridiculous so we take it with a pinch of salt.
"A number of these statements and stories seem to come out without any base so we don't really place much value on them.
"They seem to be coming from London based papers and London based editors so maybe they've had some quiet days in the office and they've had to come up with some stories and invariably they seem to involve us but there you go."
