Manchester City boss Mark Hughes doesn't believe his former Chelsea pair Shaun Wright-Phillips and Tal Ben Haim face extra pressure ahead of tomorrow's 'clash of the cash' with the Blues.
"I don't think they have anything to prove," he declares. "Everyone knows that Shaun is an exceptionally talented footballer, and we are delighted that he is back.
"He made a huge impact against Sunderland, and you could not have written that script any better. It was great for him, and I know that he is really excited about going up against Chelsea at the weekend, as we all are.
"He is going to get a fantastic reception, his homecoming in the media has possibly been overshadowed a little bit by the Robinho transfer, but come Saturday I think you will see Shaun get an outstanding reception. "
That Hughes also had a successful stint with the London Blues in the 1990s also adds to the mix, as he acknowledges:
"It's a great club, as a kid I was a Chelsea fan and I was so pleased to go there. I had three great years with them, it was an exciting time at Stamford Bridge and I enjoyed my stay there."
