Manchester City boss Mark Hughes believes the signing of former Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez will help their plans to attract the world's best players to Eastlands.
City remain locked in talks with Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor and also are planning a third offer for Chelsea captain John Terry.
Hughes said: "I am sure that the Tevez signing will help us to bring further top-class players to the club."
