The Daily Mail says City are weighing up a deal for Benfica's 23-year-old goalkeeper Ederson.

Despite AC Milan wonderkid Donnarumma remaining their primary target, there is an acceptance that it would take a huge bid to prise the Italian from his boyhood club.

Ederson has impressed for the champions of Portugal and could leave for less than his £38 million release clause.

The young Brazilian is developing into one of Europe's top goalkeepers and City are in the market for a dependable presence at the back.
