Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was happy with Riyad Mahrez and Phil Foden after their victory at Cardiff City.
City's record buy Mahrez scored his first and second goals for his new club, taking him to a half-century in English football.
Guardiola said of the Algerian: "It's good, it's the first goals. Of course it's important for him, he's an incredibly talented player - like Phil Foden for example. How he played the last 20 minutes, it's a pleasure to watch Phil play football and of course Riyad as well.
"The season is so long, they have to be ready and prepare because they are going to play a lot of minutes, all of them."
