Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has raided Barcelona for a new nutritionist.

El Mundo Deportivo says Silvia Tremoleda has become City's latest member of staff after working privately with Barcelona footballers and basketball players.

Tremoleda set Messi on the road to recovery following an injury-plagued season in 2013, although the Argentine eventually switched to Dr Giuliano Poser a year later.

Tremoleda's appointment follows in the footsteps of Guardiola's brutal summer fat camp, with treats including pizza and sugary juices consigned to the bin.
