Manchester City were on their warm weather training stint in Abu Dhabi when the axe fell on Claudio Ranieri's time at Leicester.
City boss Pep Guardiola does expect the Italian to get work soon - and he feels Ranieri's value to Leicester was evidenced in last night's 3-1 win over Liverpool.
"Yesterday was outstanding," said Guardiola. "First game without Ranieri they played like last season.
"In 50 years' time people will talk about what Leicester achieved.
"He will find a new job immediately and will do well."
