Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has confirmed Aleksandr Kolarov is leaving.

The Serbia defender is due to sign for Roma and missed City's clash with Manchester United today in Houston.

Speaking after the 2-0 defeat, Guardiola said: "I do not like to work with players who do not want to continue. He has a great chance of a transfer to AS Roma.

"He has said that he wants to leave. I wish him all the best."

Kolarov, 31, made 243 appearances for City.
