Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola admits he was a ball-boy at Barcelona when first encountering Stoke City manager Mark Hughes.
Guardiola remembers Hughes from the former Manchester United striker's season at Barcelona.
“I was a ball boy. The same when Gary Lineker was there as well," he said. “It was a tough period at Barcelona at that time. He was a difficult striker to stop in the box.
“He was strong and a fighter, like his teams now. Of course, he was one of the top strikers in the Premier League.
“I am not here to judge my colleagues but I think he is doing a good job at Stoke. He is an aggressive manager in terms of his teams always being so complicated to beat."
