Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola admits Fernandinho's injury is serious after winning the Carabao Cup final.

Following their 3-0 win against Arsenal, Guardiola gave an update on Fernandinho after the midfielder limped out of the match and revealed the Brazilian midfielder could be set for a spell on the sidelines.

The boss said: "The next games I think he will be out.

"We will see on Monday the extent of the injury but it's a big, big loss for us."
