Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says Kevin de Bruyne could be fit for their Champions League clash with Barcelona.

The early indications were that the Belgium star would struggle to be fit for City's trip to the Nou Camp on October 19, but Guardiola has indicated that De Bruyne could be ready sooner.

"The injuries are not so, so tough, like the first impression," said the City boss.

"Now we have 10 days [during the international break] and no games, which helps us.

'"Maybe two weeks, three weeks, maybe [he will recover] in time to arrive in Barcelona, we will see."
