Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has accepted the FA's charge for wearing his yellow ribbon.
The Daily Star says Guardiola is facing a slap on the wrists and a possible fine after admitting he ignored two warnings about breaching FA rules regarding kit and advertising regulations.
But the saga has descended into complete farce after it emerged a defiant Guardiola will continue to wear the ribbon underneath his clothing.
The FA said the sanction was for "wearing a political message, specifically a yellow ribbon'' - and a three man panel will decide Guardiola's punishment later this week.
Guardiola wears the ribbon to support imprisoned politicians in Catalonia, where he was born.
