Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson admits they'll be one of the big spenders in the January market.

He said: "As a manager you can ask for a lot but you know there is a certain budget and you have to adhere to that. But in all the discussions I've had with the owner he's said it's going to be better and better and that there will be more to spend.

"I am already preparing for what we need in January and although I won't say we have spotted 100 players yet we have people travelling everywhere for us because we don't want to be in the same situation as at the start when we had to buy so many players so quickly."
