Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson has revealed he's had scouts posted at the African Nations Cup.
"We have scouts at the games and I have been watching as much as I can on the television and the standard has been very good," said the Blues boss, who this week added Zimbabwe's skipper Benjani Mwaruwari to the Blues squad.
"The standard in those nations is increasing quickly and I shouldn't be surprised if one day we will see an African team winning the World Cup.
"If that happens I think it will be good for football and, of course, they have a chance - perhaps the best they have ever had - to show how good they are in 2010 in South Africa."
