Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson was thrilled to see Benjani Mwaruwari score on debut in yesterday's amazing derby victory at Manchester United.
"He played more or less all of their games. He is a great player, with a great attitude."
The Swede refused to take credit for having won the tactical war with United boss Sir Alex Ferguson, but accepted that Benjani had given his City side an extra dimension.
"I don't know [that City won the tactical battle]," he continued.
"We have technique, we have pace, and with Benjani we have it even more.
"Benjani has good technique, he is very, very quick, he can keep the ball up there, and he can score goals. He will be very important for us."
