Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson has played down suggestions that he is ready to move for Javier Mascherano, Dimitar Berbatov or Adriano.
High-flying City are expected to make moves in the transfer market in January when the window reopens.
"There are no plans about any of those things," Eriksson said when asked about the Liverpool, Tottenham and Internazionale aces.
"I guess people think we have money available and it is a good guess to put us with these names but if we do sign somebody it will be a big one."
