Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson is upset with Simon Ireland for lying about the deaths of BOTH his grannies.
Ireland, 21, even told City he could not play against Aston Villa tomorrow because he was arranging a funeral!
He has now said his girlfriend had a miscarriage and that was why he needed to go home.
But Sven's anger is nothing compared to his grans', who are furious after reading in the Irish papers they were dead.
Eriksson said: "He has been foolish. It is a stupid, stupid thing to do."
