Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson says axing Joe Hart for tonight's Carling Cup tie with Bolton is no reflection on his performance at Chelsea on Saturday.
"I had already decided to change goalkeepers to give Andreas (Isaksson) some time. But I think I will keep the rest of the team the same. I am glad we have another game so quickly but I am curious to see what happens.
"I am confident because while we will probably lose some more games in the future, I don't think they will be like that."
Eriksson insists the change of goalkeepers has nothing to do with the humiliation on Saturday.
He said: "It has been decided for several weeks. It has absolutely nothing to do with Joe Hart's performance on Saturday.
"He was actually one of the few positives from the game."
